On Android: open KeepClip in Chrome, tap the ⋮ menu, then Install app (or Add to Home screen). After that, KeepClip appears in your phone's share menu. In Instagram, tap the paper-plane icon on a post or Reel, then Share (or More), choose KeepClip, and the download opens.
On iPhone: tap Copy link in Instagram, open KeepClip, and tap Paste. Safari doesn't let websites appear in the Share menu yet.

How big is the full-size picture?
As big as Instagram stores it for that account, which depends on what was uploaded. The exact size is shown on the download button before you tap it.
Does this work for private accounts?
Yes. A profile picture is public even when the account is private, so it shows here too. Posts and stories from private accounts do not.
Why does it say the account can't be found?
Check the spelling. Usernames can contain letters, numbers, full stops and underscores, and nothing else.
Is it free?
Yes. There's nothing to sign up for and nothing to install.
