How to download Instagram Reels on Android

The quick way: paste the link

1. In Instagram, tap the paper-plane icon under the Reel, then Copy link.
2. Open Chrome and go to keepclip.app.
3. Tap Paste. The lookup starts on its own.
4. Tap Download video. Chrome shows the download at the bottom of the screen and in your notifications.

The quickest way: share from Instagram

Set this up once and you never need to copy a link again.

1. Open keepclip.app in Chrome, tap the ⋮ menu, then Install app (on some phones it says Add to Home screen).
2. In Instagram, tap the paper-plane icon on a Reel, then Share (or More) to open your phone's share menu.
3. Choose KeepClip. It opens with the Reel already looked up; tap Download video.

Where the video goes

Chrome saves it to your phone's Downloads folder. Open the Files app (called My Files on Samsung phones) and look in Downloads. Most gallery apps, including Google Photos, also show it in a Download or Downloads album.

The file is named after the account and the post, like natgeo_DdtiDZ2IrHT.mp4, so it's easy to find again.
