Instagram video won't download? Here's what each message means
When KeepClip can't give you a file, it tells you why. Here is every message it can show, what it means, and what to do.

“We couldn't find that post”
The post has been deleted, or the account is private. Instagram gives the same answer for both, so KeepClip can't tell which. Check whether the post still opens in a browser where you're not logged in to Instagram: if it doesn't, it can't be downloaded.
“This account is private”
Only posts from public accounts can be downloaded. KeepClip never logs in to Instagram, so it sees exactly what a logged-out visitor sees. Profile pictures are the exception: they're public even on private accounts.
“That story isn't available”
Stories disappear after 24 hours, and there's nothing left to download after that. Stories from private accounts can't be downloaded at any time.
“Short share links aren't supported yet”
Links containing /share/ or /s/ are shortcuts that point somewhere else. Open the link in Instagram or your browser; once the post has loaded, copy its link again from the ⋯ menu or the address bar, and paste that one.
“Highlights aren't supported yet”
Open the highlight, go to the one story you want, and copy the link to that story instead.
“That didn't download”
Occasionally a browser blocks the download. The message includes an Open it in a new tab link: tap it, then long-press the video or photo (right-click on a computer) and choose Save.
The download link stopped working
Instagram's file links expire after a while, so a results page left open too long stops working. Paste the Instagram link again to get fresh ones.
“You've looked up a lot of links in the last minute”
To keep the service free, each connection gets a limited number of lookups per minute. Wait a minute and try again.
“Instagram lookups aren't working right now”
Something between KeepClip and Instagram isn't answering, often because Instagram has changed something. Try again in a few minutes.
