How to download Instagram videos on a computer

Get the link

On instagram.com, open the Reel or post you want. Either of these gives you its link:

1. Copy the address from your browser's address bar while the post is open, or
2. Click the ⋯ button on the post, then Copy link.

Download it

1. Go to keepclip.app in another tab.
2. Click in the box, press Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on a Mac), then click Get download links.
3. Click Download video or Download photo. For a carousel, each photo and video has its own button.

Where the file goes

Into your Downloads folder. On Windows, open File Explorer and click Downloads. On a Mac, open Finder and click Downloads, or use the Downloads stack in the Dock.

If you'd rather see the file before saving it, hold Ctrl (Cmd on a Mac) while you click Download: it opens in a new tab instead.
